Ariana M. DeMers, DO

Ariana M. DeMers, DO is board eligible, fellowship trained specialist who practices general orthopedics and specializes in treating sports medicine injuries, fractures and arthritis. Dr. DeMers provides orthopaedic care to patients of all ages needing a wide range of services including sports medicine, non-surgical and surgical care for ligament injuries, cartilage problems, arthritis, fractures and musculoskeletal injuries.
She received her undergraduate degree from University of Colorado in 1999. She graduated from the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After graduation she completed her internship and residency at Ingham Regional Medical Center in Lansing, Michigan. She also completed a Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy Fellowship at Taos Orthopedic Institute, one the the nation's premier centers for Orthopedic Sports Medicine in 2009.
Her professional associations include American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy Association of North America, Orthopedic Trauma Association and American Osteopathic Association.
Dr. DeMers has authored the following works in progress: Microvascular Supply of the Glenoid and Functional Results of Locked Plating for 3- and 4 Part Proximal Humerus Fractures.
Dr. DeMers is married and resides in Sonora.
